Kristoff's journey brought him to our shelter on 07/22, where he unfortunately wasn't reunited with his original family. Despite that, he's already mastered sitting on command and taking treats gently, thanks to his previous family's teachings. Plus, he's a pro at walking on a leash with grace. Although Kristoff's previous family missed his monthly heartworm prevention, resulting in a positive heartworm test, there's good news – he's completed his treatment right here at the shelter. Many dogs who undergo heartworm treatment go on to lead wonderfully healthy lives. At just one year old and weighing 45 pounds, Kristoff is full of youthful energy and love. His vaccines are up to date, and he'll be neutered and micro-chipped before joining your family.
