A. L. Burruss Park now has trails open for off road bicycling. Several trails within the park can now be used by bicyclists as well as hikers and runners. These family friendly trails are a great spot for beginners to practice their off road bicycling techniques.

2600 Park Drive, Kennesaw, GA Read MoreThe Al Bishop Softball Complex is the hub of league and tournament action sponsored by the Cobb recreation department. Built in 1979 and located on Al Bishop Drive in Marietta near Jim R. Miller Park (Cobb County fairgrounds), the nationally recognized facility annually hosts about 2,500 tournament games and another 2,000 league games on its five fields. More than 175 adult teams participate each spring-summer league season, while another 120 teams play during the fall season.
Atherton Square Park is a pocket park located just off the M2R Trail on the Marietta Square.
The Aviation Sports Complex is a top-notch facility that was renovated in 2010 with proceeds from the 2009 Parks Bond Fund. The facility has three ballfields that can accommodate various age groups and has an indoor batting cage/training facility. With multiple outdoor batting cages, it is perfect for game-day warm-ups, team practices and clinics and instruction.

It has an aviation theme, with a restroom building designed to look like the airport’s tower, a playground with plane features, and an open grass area for watching planes come and go. There is a pavilion with picnic tables, and a bikeshare terminal for riding on the Noonday Creek Trail, which goes right by the park.

Features include a historical garden around the Civil War Era house, Native American Garden with medicinal plants and herbs, a community garden with garden plots for lease to the public, and 25 bluebird houses featured in bluebird walks hosted by a member of the Friends of Green Meadows.

Marietta PAL offers a variety of activities for enrolled youth ages 5-18 to enjoy Monday through Friday from 4 - 6 p.m. Daily activities include health and fitness, interactive games and a rotation through a variety of introductory sports clinics.
